It's been aaages since I posted, because I've been out in the wild where internet like, doesn't exist, unless you pay for it or just suffer through it. Went to Pheonix, where it's like a gazillion degrees. I think I nearly died. Met my long lost uncle, cousins, and great uncle. My counsins are amazing, I can't wait to see them again. the older one is so sweet, we all love him to death, and the younger one is so fucking hyper, but he's cool too. Grand Canyons were okay, for a bunch or rocks. No, I'm not arrogant or ignorant, I'm just stressing my point that it was, well, rocks. Pretty, but no donkey rides down to the bottom :'-( Then it was the Redwoods in the Sequoia area, which were like, 2000 year old trees. They were reaaalllly tall, and like, 7000 feet up elevation wise, and adding like, a couple hundred feet on that and you get the top of the trees. Hiked up Moro rock, which was pretty fucking amazing, I'll admit, to see the sunset Then we went to some hick town out there for a night, but I don't remember much or that, and the next day we were in San Francisco, again. Chinatown for souvienirs, Virgin records music store for Queer as Folk soundtracks and yes, Andrew, another Pansy Division CD. Brother got back from Korea, and we went to see the golden gate bridge. It's really fucking cold out there, it's actually hotter in Maine, which you wouldn't ever guess, atleast during the summer Got home this morning at some ungodly hour- like 1:30 in the morning. I'm exhausted, because I didn't fall asleep until after three, and then I woke up early, which is weird, because it's only 3 in California, maybe I'm already on eastern time. Damn the sun, it's shining through my black draps and waking me up Got some lame ass SAT practice course today. Waste of my time. So I'm in/near San Diego at the moment. Yesterday we spent the day at Disneland. It was fun. We did the Indiana Jones ride, Haunted Mansion, Star Tours, and other stuff, but I dont' remember. I bought another lightsaber- Anakins blue/green color changing one. I can't wait to get it home and play with it. We also went to the little town besides Disney and went to Sephora- talk about over priced Gay pride was pretty cool, but I only saw like, 45 minutes of it. Dykes on Bikes was pretty cool, and then some bicyclists, and one guy was naked- I got a picture of him for you Andrew, LOL. So I'm at my grandmothers, and she has AOL and it sucks, and I'm hoping they remember not to pick up the phone. I'm bored, homesick, and I miss my ponies back at Camp. There was a fire in Grand Canyon, our next stop, so maybe we won't go there and we'll go to LA like me and my sister want... | | 5:37 pm |
Alright, so I'm in California, where it's really kinda cold, not hot, but I bought this awesome sweatshirt that says "Alcatraz: Psycho Ward: Outpatient" Makes me laugh. I've bought my souveneir thing for izumitakamiya so you should feel special. I went to Mike Dirnt's resturant, Rudy's Can't Fail Cafe. The family was skeptical, but it ended up pretty good. Dragged them to Gilman Street, but they wouldn't let me go hear the band that was playing, maybe I'll convince them later to let me. Today we went to Union Plaza and did some shopping and then we went down to Fisherman's wharf and bought Girhadelli chocolate (Don't worry Andrew, I'm going back to get you some, haha). So it's only 5:40 here, but it's like, almost 9 at home,and that's kinda weird. After tomorrow, my brother's taking off for Korea and we're going to San Diego. Last time I was there I ran away at Sea World. Then we're going to Phoenix. To visit and uncle I've never met in like, 110 degree weather. Then to the Redwood Forest. Trees... yay... *sarcasm intended* But it's still Gay Pride week at San Fran,so that's cool. Why can't So.Po. get all decorated like it does here? Man, Maine Sucks Guh, I hate using hotel computers,the keyboard is sitting weird and it's hurting to type. Plus I can't go onto the sites I wanna go to, because it'll spam the computer or something. Family's up from Minnesota, which is cool, because my cousin is the best, and my aunt is cool, so it's all cool, and this sounds reaally retarded I bought this thing that's like a tape cassette, but I can hook it to my CD player, so I can listen to CDs in the car Because of that, I've actually been listening to my Wheatus CDs. They're definitely emo. BBB (omg, soo fucking hot) does the girly high pitched whine, and the CD "Suck Fony." Well, fuck sony, yeah, because they were totally screwed over. I mean, I dunno, reading the lyrics, maybe not, but the lyrics combined with the voice, bitching about the government and getting screwed over, slightly emo to me. Whatever, they're fucking amazing Aaaanyways. Bored, depressed, I wanna write a song, but I know I suck, so there's no point in trying. It's been a motherfuckin' long time since I've been here...
Overview of the last four months: Birthday- YAY, Drving test, failed, driving test, PASSED! Emo, depression, icecream and brownies in chem. Friend pesters me to go to prom, buy dress, randomly meet guy who becomes prom date. Slow down to this week: Friday we went to see The Da Vinci Code, which was alright, kinda boring, but I guess it was okay. Then Nikki and Jordan hung out at my place until 11 playing DDR Saturday was prom and it was soo fucking amazing. Dinner in Cape Porpoise and then we waited an hour to get the photos from the dance, and then just lots of hanging out with friends. Met Sam, who is like, my new best friend. Because she's amazing. Even tho her dog scares me. Sunday was just a "bleh, kill me" day Today sucked My car had to be inspected and I couldn't drive home, because of this TINY crack in the windw, work was shit, Failed a history quiz, failed a math test, nearly failed a chem quiz, and the funny thing is that i dont' really give a shit. Felt sick all day, went to lay down but i couldn't sleep so I watched soem fucked up soap opera that bored me to tears, went to work, had to go buy grain for the horses, but i got to ride in front of the kids so that was cool. Sooo I met Andrew at Build-A-Bear and we made Jack and Ennis bears for when we go to see Brokeback Mountain. We sang songs to a buncha random girls who's birthday it was was Amanda. Then we went shopping for our friends and I gave Andrew his gift... which he picked out... lol So then we split up and I went shopping for the fam. It was pretty crowded, my feet hurt from running around now. But I met a really hot guy outside of the Dream Machine. Well, we kinda just stood there and check each other out. He looked 18-20-ish. We met eyes a few times and then we'd kinda look away, but he so looked my way more than once. And then when he left with his friends he kinda smiled and nodded and went "see you later."
